The team

The Payroll team is responsible for providing effective and efficient payroll services to Pacific Aluminium employees within Australia and New Zealand while ensuring compliance with legislation. Payroll services include transactional, administrative, professional and advisory support to leaders and employees.

The role

Reporting to the Payroll Specialist, this is a high volume, transactional role ensuring the delivery of effective and efficient payroll services to Pacific Aluminium employees within Australia and New Zealand while ensuring compliance with legislation. Based in Brisbane, you will be accountable for the effective provision of payroll services including transactional, administrative, professional and advisory support to all employees. You will also drive a continuous improvement focus and embed improvement opportunities within the PacAl payroll team.

About you

As the successful applicant, you will have considerable experience within a similar role with demonstrated SAP payroll system experience. You will have a comprehensive understanding of relevant Australian and New Zealand payroll legislation, with extensive experience and knowledge of payroll and superannuation. You have an ability to meet time restrictions and deadlines with a sense of urgency while still maintaining your high attention to detail and strong analytical skills. You will also have excellent effective written and verbal communication skills, which you use with internal and external stakeholders to deliver excellent customer service. You work effectively within a team and also can successfully work autonomously with limited direction.
